Come mix and mingle with a combination of formal and care-free. Join us for the Beaver Dam Annual Dinner and Awards at the Black Ties Blue Jeans Gala. This evening brings our membership together to celebrate progress in our businesses and organizations and to recognize young leaders in our community. Winners of the Five-Under-Forty Award, Innovation Award and Emerging Leader Award will be recognized during the event.
So what is a Black Ties and Blue Jeans Gala? It’s a mixture of jeans and bling, denims and diamonds, suits and t-shirts, and cocktail dresses and cowboy boots. Throw on any combination for a festive flair with a focus on black and blue jeans.
To encourage and celebrate progress in our businesses and organizations and cultivate young leaders in our community, we will be recognizing businesses, organizations, and individuals as follows:

Five-Under-Forty Awards
This recognition will honor five of the Beaver Dam area's brightest young leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers and the communities they represent. We are looking for individuals who are rising stars showing leadership and making a positive impact in their work and where they live.

Innovation Awards
The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce Innovation Awards seek to inspire, celebrate, and encourage an environment of positive change-making innovations by honoring the most innovative companies and organizations in the Beaver Dam area. Awards will be presented to both a large and a small company and an organization whose product, project, program, process improvement or practice best exemplify forward-thinking ideas and extraordinary innovation. We will also recognize other entries on social media and press releases.

Emerging Leader Award
This award started in 2021 and recognizes a high school or post-secondary student who has made a significant impact and positive difference in Beaver Dam through his/her leadership activities and/or work initiatives. Award recipient will be honored for being a community-oriented, professionally responsible, and academically prepared leader. A $200 Chamber Check will be awarded to this honoree.
We are looking forward to celebrating all the great things our businesses and organizations are doing right here in the Beaver Dam area and recognizing the young leaders who will keep Beaver Dam moving forward. We look forward to seeing your organization’s nominations!
